As a member of the Auditory Perception and Cognition Society (APCS), you likely know that the society exists primarily to support the annual Auditory Perception, Cognition & Action Meeting (APCAM), as well as its affiliated journal, Auditory Perception & Cognition (AP&C).
One brief, but important way for APCS members to support both the annual meeting and the journal is to serve as a reviewer of brief report submissions to the journal that are based upon work presented at APCAM. As indicated around the time of the meeting, authors of a submission to APCAM 2023 have the opportunity to submit a brief report related to their presentation. This kind of brief report is not to be confused with a traditional conference proceedings paper insofar as it is peer-reviewed and can be slightly longer (up to 10-15 APA-formatted pages for the main text).
It is our hope that, as an APCS member, you will be willing to serve as a reviewer of 1-2 brief reports, as your expertise will be of immense value to the review process. Toward that end, we would be grateful if you would please complete the following brief (approximately 3-minutes) survey:
The survey contains the title, authors, and corresponding abstracts from APCAM 2023 presentations that are expected to lead to a brief report submission. We simply ask you to indicate within the survey whether you are willing to serve as a reviewer for a particular report submission. The survey also requests your name and e-mail address so that you can subsequently be formally invited as a reviewer.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request. We truly appreciate your support of APCS and look forward to you submitting your work to AP&C in the near future.
